ADHD or trauma

What does the first assessment look like?

Through conversation and the initial assessment of the child/client, potential deviations in the areas of speech-language, social, and functional skills are identified, focusing on motor skills, speech, language, and socio-emotional development.

After the assessment, parents/clients receive recommendations for further evaluation if necessary (psychologist, educational rehabilitator, pediatric neurologist, etc.) and therapy. An individualized work plan is created for each client.

What does the work look like?

Support for children’s growth and development takes place through various educational materials used for teaching and stimulation. A special focus of the work is on stimulating motor development, verbal and non-verbal communication, encouraging socialization, developing as much independence as possible in the child, and promoting speech expression through play and educational toys.

In working with adults, techniques from basic music education are also used (graduated from the Ivana Matetića Ronjgova School of Music in Rijeka, piano class).
